
Victoria will lift more lockdown restrictions on June 22.
- From 22 June a further easing of restrictions is planned for social events, ceremonies, community services, sport and exercise, cafes and restaurants, travel, and entertainment.
- All eased restrictions and the proposed dates are subject to the advice of Victoria’s Chief Health Officer and the continued and effective management of the spread of COVID-19.
Here’s the details:
🍻 pubs and clubs can serve drinks without meals
🪑 pubs and clubs can have 50 customers
📚 libraries, community centres, halls open to 50 people
Gyms will be open with restrictions on people per space.
‘Clubs‘ includes strip clubs and nightclubs 🕺🏼
🏠 auctions, small religious ceremonies, museums, outdoor amusement parks to go from 20 to 50 people.
From Monday 20 July:
🎰 electronic gaming areas at pubs/casino can open
🎾 all sport comps, including contact sports, can resume across all ages (training can start a week before – 13 July)
